Work Parties
Nov.5.11 work party moved 2 4 meter bridges from sensitive Bird and Fish habitat in the Mamquam Trail system. Well built (unauthorized) bridges are being stored in District of Squamish Parks Work yard for use at another location. Signs at both ends of the decomissioned trail indicate why they were removed, i.e. Senstive Bird andFish Habitiat. For more photo’s visit facebook.
Work parties provide busy people, with limited time, the opportunity to help with important environmental work, meet like-minded people, and have fun!
Work Parties, in general, are scheduled for the third Saturday in the month – BUT there are exceptions. Please check the calendar for work party dates and details.
