Eagle Run Signage Updates

A $2000 Community Enhancement grant from the District of Squamish and the Squamish Community Foundation has enabled our dedicated volunteers to complete our project to refurbish and update signage at the Eagle Run dike viewing shelter.

Our project began two years ago. This year’s work included re-glazing two more interpretive panels to complete the set installed in 1997 as part of the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s Eagles of Brackendale project. The unique posters will now be protected from weather damage for many years to come.

The remainder of the work consisted of  updating and replacing signs about eagles and our EagleWatch program. This will make them easier to maintain with current information including the results of our annual Brackendale Winter Eagle Count.

Our thanks to our funders and volunteers for making this project possible.
