On April 20 (10:00 am to 2:00 pm) we will be co-hosting 2019 Earth Day celebrations with My Sea to Sky. Community groups joining us at Junction Park will include Squamish Trails Society, Squamish Streamkeepers, our EagleWatch program, District of Squamish Wildlife Program, Squamish River Watershed Society, Sea to Sky Invasive Species Council, and the Squamish International Folk Dancers.
We are grateful to once again host an Earth Day celebration on the traditional, unceded territory of the Squamish Nation.
There will be plenty of activities for kids and adults alike. We’ll have cutouts of local critters to color, waste sorting games, mosaics to paint and many other fun ways to learn about the work of our local organizations. There will also be representatives from all the groups there to answer your questions and to tell you about ways that you can get involved.
We hope to see you there.
