Please join us for our COVID-safe, virtual AGM on October 21, 2021 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.

The Zoom meeting will open at 6:30 pm, for those who would like an opportunity to chat and mingle virtually. The AGM will start at 7:00PM.

If you have not received a Zoom link with the Notice of Meeting, please contact treasurer@squamishenvironment.ca.

We plan to cover essential business and also present short updates on our various programs and projects.

Voting will be conducted by show of hands. At the discretion of the Director presiding over the meeting, members may be asked to vote individually by voice. Please note that you must join or renew your SES  membership for the upcoming year (October 2021-September 2022), in order to vote on the Special Resolution and election of the board. You can join or renew your membership online. Or download a membership form and mail it to us.

The meeting will be recorded and a copy of the recording will be provided to members on request.

Why Join SES?

Without a group of members, we have no voice. By joining SES, you are voicing your support for the work that we do – engaging the community in enjoyment, understanding and respect for our natural environment. All memberships are due at the AGM and we thank you for your continued support.

Your SES membership also includes membership in BC Nature and a subscription to their quarterly magazine. BC Nature is an umbrella organization for naturalist clubs in BC. They offer field trips and conferences; provide member clubs with liability insurance; and they provide a strong, united voice for conservation. By joining SES you support this important work.

Donate

SES relies on the generosity of volunteers and donors to support our programs and activities. Please consider making a donation. Tax receipts are available for donations of $20 or more.

* In May 2021 the Societies Act was amended to permit electronic meetings. Our proposed bylaw changes reflect this new provision.
