SES to receive 2018 Community Enhancement Grant

At its December 12, 2017 meeting, Squamish Council approved a 2018 $3000 Community Enhancement Grant for the Squamish Environmental Conservation Society (that’s us, usually known as SES). The letter telling us about the decision made a great start for the new year.

We applied for the grant to help sustain our Eagle Watch program. The District has provided several grants in support of Eagle Watch since the program was founded 22 years ago, with the most recent being a $3000 grant in 2013. We are working on building a broad base of community support, so we are able to fund our programs properly while not being reliant on any one source. Our thanks to Council for their support!
