The draw for winners in the Squamish Environment Society’s Birds & Words, a fundraising art exhibition and online raffle was held on February 14. Individual winners have been notified by email and the project team (Toby Jaxon, Tatiana Lee and Zoë Evamy) is working on arrangements for pickup or delivery of the paintings.
The raffle raised nearly $1,600 to protect wild birds through support for the Society’s ongoing bird monitoring programs.
Thank you to the project team, the artists, and everyone who participated in the raffle by purchasing tickets. Thanks also to the District of Squamish and the Squamish Community Foundation for supporting the project with a Squamish Arts 2024 Arts & Culture Grant.
