Nineteen participants contributed, enjoying this sunny winter afternoon. We brought our diverse backgrounds of art, meditation in nature, nature education with children, science, Squamish Trails Society, and Squamish Streamkeepers. Four high school students visiting from South Korea joined us, as did some neighbours who live by the Estuary. The day before, Brian Klassen led a guided nature walk “Wild for Salmon”, organized by Rhonda O’Grady and the Squamish River Watershed Society, launching the International Year of the Salmon.
