On this rainy Squamish day, what a terrific contrast it was to get out at the top of Gondola. A soft blanket of fresh snow had fallen the night before and more flakes were floating down – truly a magical world of beauty. Everyone looked so happy to be there.
Along the Panorama Trail, the diversity of lichens on the conifer trunks really stood out. As the lichens are identified, we will post them on the Biodiversity Squamish site. Here are some of the discoveries, in the album below.
